80 Years and going strong!

Last week I had the opportunity to take part in the 80th Anniversary celebration for Dougherty’s Pharmacy in Dallas Texas. I spent the day in the store, speaking with staff and customers…then attended a great reception at the Coopper Clinic just up the road. In describing what an amazing store Dougherty’s is, I could go on to talk about how they are one of the largest and most successful Independent pharmacies in the country, how they have been a pillar in their community for 80 years, how most of the customers I met while there shared the same sentiment…that they would NEVER consider using another pharmacy, and how each and every employee takes pride in their work and goes out of their way to help their customers no matter what they need! Or, I could simply say - ‘THEY GET IT!” Either way, it was a great experience for me, and seeing a store like this makes me proud to be the Naional Spokesperson for them…and all Good Neighbor Pharmacies like them.
